As corporates absorb the regulatory impact of Brexit, they are acknowledging that a large percentage of their existing contracts contain obsolete or ambiguous language that lacks legal certainty and must be addressed. Though a daunting exercise, given the epic scale, developing a comprehensive remediation plan will help corporates to “Brexit-proof” their contracts of the past, present and future.
