Observations from Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017

The 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) showcased the latest cutting edge gadgetry, living up to its reputation as the go-to show for technology innovation and advancement. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, over 175,000 industry professionals descended on Las Vegas to participate in more than 3,800 exhibits. Grail Research was in attendance for three days, providing us an opportunity to observe firsthand the latest trends in consumer goods innovation. This year’s Fieldnotes highlight shifting industry trends as product ecosystems continue to become more connected and companies leverage artificial intelligence to stay competitive and capture market share.
