CLIENT COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS |
|
|
Client machines must have Internet Explorer 6+ and security configuration must permit users to add sites to their “Trusted Sites” list and to run ActiveX controls. Client-side firewall must allow outbound traffic on port 443.
Client machines must have Concordance 8.2 and Opticon 3.31 installed.
Step 1:
Configure security settings in Internet Explorer to enable the FYI Reviewer plug-in by adding Integreon’s FYI server to your “Trusted Sites.” Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools” and “Internet options." Choose the "Security" tab and click on the "Trusted Sites" icon. Click the "Sites..." button below it and you will see a dialog box allowing you to enter trusted sites. Uncheck the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" button, then type http://160.79.158.53 in the "Add this Web site to this zone" box and then Click "Add." Click OK, OK. Close Internet Explorer.
Step 2:
Re-open Internet Explorer and browse to http://160.79.158.53/fyi/IntegreonFYILogin.html. The first time you open this page an ActiveX control will be installed on your PC, a process that should take 15-30 seconds (once the install is completed, it need not be repeated, and this page will load much more quickly when accessed again).
Step 3:
When asked to log in, enter user name and password and enter 160.79.158.53 as the server name.
You will be supplied with an “fyi” file containing the information Concordance and Opticon need to connect to the FYI Server. Within Concordance, click on “File” and “Open” and then browse to the fyi file and open it. You will be prompted for your username and password, and once logged in, the FYI database will function exactly as a local Concordance database would, except that structure changes (“file” – “modify”) are not permitted.
