Key Objective
Interim Recruiter until end 2010
As a Recruiter, this person will be responsible for sourcing vacancies primarily within the UK and Europe. Requirements will be across all levels of the organization and will range from newly created positions to replacement roles. The position holder will need a thorough understanding of the local markets, and will devise and drive the talent strategy for finding the best people in support of our organizational development.
Performance and time based metric data for each of the positions they staff. Job description development and interview evaluation criteria, along with salary benchmarking will be critical components for this role.
Position Objectives
- Responsible for sourcing talent at all levels throughout the European organization
- Implementing and maintaining staff planning to include an understanding of succession management and talent forecasting
- Working with various members of management on the recruitment and employment process including advertisement creation, recruitment event coordination, job fairs, candidate research and posting and maintaining position openings, both externally and internally
- Providing guidance based on past practice and current Associate knowledge
- Running and administering the hiring process including: scheduling interviews, application pre-screening, submitting background checks, completing reference checks and making hiring offers. Make recommendations and decisions with local management team
- Ensure all employment paperwork associated with new hires takes place in a timely fashion and that compliance records are all current
- Assist with analyzing job duties and writing job descriptions
- Assist in periodic and annual market & industry research as requested (i.e., research on compensation and benefits, recruitment strategies and company policies, etc.)
- Assist other Human Resource Team members when possible, liaising with employees as required

This is a new role, pivotal to supporting our ambitious growth plans.
As an interim with a busy workload from the start you’ll need to be able to hit the ground running, getting to grips with a complex and matrix structured services organization, supporting recruitment requirements from internal and client facing functions.
A reputable recruiter, abreast of the latest, most effective and cost efficient methods of attraction, sourcing and selection, you’ll be comfortable in a fast paced dynamic environment, supporting multiple business functions.
With proven experience and contacts in the professional services sector you’ll be well placed to recruit professionals to support the high demanding professionals that make up our client base.
You’ll need to be adaptable and as comfortable hiring into senior manager positions and niche roles that may not have previously existed in the UK as you will be helping our managers to place temps and interims.
This standalone role will require all round organization skills, first class administration and a full and thorough working knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in addition to:
- The ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients in a friendly and professional manner. Good listening skills and tact are essential
- Proven ability to source positions quickly and cost effectively, analyzing costs, preparing and evaluating metrics and managing headcount requirements
- Ability to use the entire Microsoft Office suite of products for word processing, spreadsheet and database. Advanced skills in Excel and Access will be required
- Ability to show initiative and good judgment, functioning well under pressure, able to switch gears on a moment’s notice and ability to concentrate in an environment of multiple demands and distractions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform accurately under time pressures and constraints
- Ability to manage multiple details
- The position also requires skills of a highly confidential, detailed oriented, well-organized, self-motivated, problem solver who can work independently
Previous Experience Requirements
- An experienced in-house recruiter, able to provide full end to end recruitment service and with a full commitment to providing a quality customer service.
- Must have a proven track record recruiting at various levels, both high volume and specialist roles.
- Additional previous experience in any area of Human Resources, organizational development or business administration is helpful. Legal Process Outsourcing, Business Process Outsourcing or additional professional services industry knowledge is preferred.
Educational Requirements
- Degree or equivalent required; CIPD qualification or part qualification preferred
