Caring for the community through the SMILE program has become an essential component of our philosophy in action.
Mission
SMILE was established to make a positive contribution to our communities through social, economic, educational, and health initiatives, improving the lives of the underprivileged through programs and direct assistance to individuals and families.
Overview
SMILE provides Integreon associates with a vehicle for making a difference in the community in which they live, learn and work – wherever in the world that happens to be. The SMILE program has dedicated committee members and volunteers throughout our organization. Through volunteering and taking an active role in their communities, our associates further develop their people skills, leadership and teamwork, while discovering the power of “giving back.”
Reaching out to children
SMILE has adopted two children’s shelters, Aasara and Sharanam, and works to provide the children there with access to quality health, educational and recreational services through a variety of workshops and fundraising activities. One of the most popular events at Aasara and Sharanam is the “Chotte Champions” sports event organized by SMILE.
In association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, SMILE initiated a drive for our associates to help grant children’s wishes. The response in our Mumbai office was remarkable, raising enough money to grant the wishes of 28 children and incorporating a wish-granting ceremony for them into our annual company awards event.
Reaching out to the elderly
SMILE also organized events for the Home for the Aged shelter in Mumbai, presenting dance performances by our associates, a fashion show, and games with the residents. SMILE also donated food and drink supplies for the residents.
Caring for the extended Integreon family
SMILE also provides education and heath care assistance for families of our non-career-track associates, such as our cleaning staff.

Increasing our reach
SMILE is now associated with Anganwadi – Women Development and Child Welfare, working for health and nutrition education to women, education for children and adolescent girls, and health and nutrition check-ups.
