Fred Ayala, Chairman
Fred is the CEO of LiveIt Solutions, Inc., Ayala Corporation’s holding company for its investments in the BPO sector. He is also the non-executive Chairman and former CEO of eTelecare, one of the leading customer care companies in Asia. LiveIt recently acquired a significant shareholding in eTelecare. Fred was also formerly Chairman of SPi, one of the leading non-voice BPO companies in Asia.
Previously, Fred was a Partner at Crimson Investment, an international private equity firm that provides buyout and growth capital financing to companies capitalizing on the accelerating globalization trend in manufacturing and services. Before that, Fred was a Managing Director and Co-Founder of MBO Partners, an Asian investment firm.
Fred has a double major BA in Developmental Studies (Honors) and Economics from Brown University, and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Gina Oris, Director
Gina Oris is a Managing Director in charge of Asset Management and Business Development at Ayala Corporation. She has been with the Ayala group of companies for 16 years starting as a Bank Officers Development Program trainee in Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) progressing to Senior Manager and Team Leader in BPI’s Corporate Finance Department. She joined Ayala Corporation in 2000 initially overseeing new technology investments. In 2003, she joined AC Capital, Ayala’s internal division that manages unlisted investments and that looks for new investment opportunities. She became the CFO of AC Capital and CFO of LiveIt (Ayala’s BPO holding company) in 2007. Gina is a board director or treasurer of various Ayala investee companies.
Gina obtained her B.S. Mathematics, major in Computer Science degree from Ateneo de Manila University graduating Honorable Mention. She completed her Masters in Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management as an Asian Development Bank scholar. Gina is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
John Eric T. Francia, Director
John Eric T. Francia is a Managing Director and a member of the Management Committee of Ayala Corporation since January 2009. Eric is the Head of Ayala’s Corporate Strategy Group, which is responsible for overseeing Ayala’s portfolio strategy and new business development, providing analytic support for resource allocation decisions, aligning and monitoring key performance metrics within the group. He is also a director of Manila Water Company, Philwater Holdings Inc., Integrated Microelectronics Inc., LiveIt Investments Ltd., and Michigan Power Inc.
Prior to joining Ayala, Eric was the Head of the Global Business Planning and Operations of the Monitor Group, a strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, MA. Eric spent 12 years in the management consulting sector both as a senior consultant and member of the management team. Prior to consulting, he spent a few years in the field of academe and media.
Eric received his undergraduate degree in Humanities and Political Economy from the University of Asia & the Pacific, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then completed his Masters Degree in Management Studies at the University of Cambridge in the UK, graduating with First Class Honors.
JM Trivedi, Director
JM is based in Mumbai and heads up Actis’s South Asian business and is a non-voting member of the investment committee for South Asia. JM has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry, including 19 years of private equity experience and 12 in development banking.
JM joined Actis in 1997, and was responsible for setting up the Mumbai office. He has led a number of successful investments, most notably Glenmark, UTI Bank, Sterling Hospital, Paras Pharmaceuticals and Avtec.
Prior to joining Actis, JM was Senior Vice President at Gujarat Venture Finance Ltd. (GVFL) in India. He joined GVFL in its formative stage and helped it raise its first three funds.
JM is a chemical engineer from IIT, Bombay and holds a Diploma in Finance from Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
Gautham Radhakrishnan, Director
Gautham joined Actis in 2009, where he is a Director based in Mumbai. Before joining Actis, Gautham worked as a Principal with Warburg Pincus in London. Prior to that he was with JP Morgan & Co in London, both in Fixed Income and Investment Banking. He has also worked at the BBC, CERN and Nortel Networks.
Gautham has an MA (Scholar) in Computer Science from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge, an MSc (Distinction) from Imperial College, University of London and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
Liam Brown, Director
Liam has twenty years of experience in the Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) industry, primarily serving investment banks, law firms and Global 1000 corporations. Prior to Integreon, he was the President, COO and co-founder of Conscium, a web-based virtual deal room business serving lawyers and bankers, which was acquired in 2001 by NYSE-listed Bowne & Co. Liam has also held executive positions at Merrill Corporation, a then-NASDAQ-listed global outsourcing services provider to law firms, and at St. Ives PLC, an LSE-listed company, in their UK legal outsourcing services business unit.
Based in Los Angeles, Liam has served as President and CEO since 2001. Under his leadership, Integreon has grown from 10 New York-based staff providing Document KPO services to McKinsey & Company, to nearly 2,000 associates worldwide today, providing a pioneering range of complex, high value Legal KPO, Research KPO and Document KPO services to many banks, law firms and corporations.
