Key Objective :-

Based in the company’s Bristol Office, the purpose of this position is to undertake business research for Integreon’s professional service clients, in particular, providing support to some of the UK’s leading law firms. Working as part of a large team of legal and business research professionals, you will use a range of research tools to produce:

• Company reports;

• Sector overviews;

• Market Assessments

• Executive biographies;

• Prospect lists;

• Intelligence briefings.

The role will include working with other teams across Integreon, including with research associates based across our network of global delivery centres, with the following objectives;

• To provide business intelligence services to legal clients to support marketing, business development, practice group and sector growth initiatives.

• To act as a point of contact for dealing with requests, queries, and delivery of Business Intelligence work to the client.

• To be able to scope, plan, resource and deliver ongoing / ad hoc projects.

• To be able to liaise with and co-ordinate other Integreon resources (to plan and manage workflow, priorities and deliverables when Senior BI Manager is unavailable).

Position Objectives Expectations :-

• To provide quality research and analysis for the client stakeholders.

• Key outputs and deliverables will include: 

* Company profiling.

* Competitor research and benchmarking.

* Sector overviews / analysis of issues - identify relevant sources and pull together research in order to provide key trends, highlights and insights on sector / market under review. For Business Planning for example, to be able to review market reports and provide salient updates of key trends, developments and key issues. 

* Analysis/research of business issues impacting the client - articulate possible risks, opportunities and impacts as required.

* Research for proposals, targeting and planning - produce initial scope / proposed course of action and include possible sources and likely deliverables for targeting and new business initiatives.

• To use company and research databases/subscriptions to access and source information.

• To share knowledge and findings with wider team to support development of wider team toolkit.

• To translate requests or enquiries into short research briefs with instructions to support off-shore delivery teams that also undertake research.

Educational Requirements :-

University graduate or similar.

Appropriate professional memberships, CPD or post-graduate qualifications to support role.

Previous Experience Requirements :-

• 3-5 years of experience working in a research environment, undertaking desk research and pulling together data and reports from multiple sources; analyzing trends and information.

• Previous experience working in professional services, especially Legal Sector, but also relevant if Financial Services; Management Consultancy; Accountancy or wider Market Research Sector.

• Knowledge or understanding of marketing and/or business development stakeholders.

• Awareness and knowledge of database and information sources available to support business research.
