On the eve of elections in Europe, Integreon CEO Bob Gogel has a message for European policymakers who may be suffering from ‘myeuropia,’ a word he invented meaning short-sighted and blurry vision as to what Europe can and should do for itself and its citizens. In the latest issue of The Parliament Magazine, a fortnightly publication on EU political issues, Bob writes that in order to move the economy forward, Europe needs the support of business leaders to help create a unified vision for a restructured Europe. To this end, he shares several recommendations given recently to the European Commission by senior executives from the fourth annual conference of ‘The State of the European Union' held last week at the Palais d'Egmont.
